11-5-20 THOUGHTS

This morning I go back to our very first post on March 18, 2020.  Much has happened since then.

“It’s Wednesday morning about 5 am.  There’s something different about this Wednesday that is troubling me.  At a minimum, I usually anticipate meeting with brothers and sisters this evening.  Most often, I am preparing a lesson with the hope that edification will occur.
I am sad that I won’t get the strength and joy from our meeting together.  No songs, no prayers, no study together, no hugs and handshakes.  The potential for a more significant distancing frightens me.
Right now, I just need to share some piece of value with all of you.  Something Godly in a time none of us have ever faced.  As we are told to stay home, we must somehow learn to stay together!
SOMEHOW in this time, WE MUST CONTINUE TO THINK TOGETHER!  It is surely a TIME FOR PRAYER  BY ALL OF US!
We will get lazy if we do not maintain a desire to STAY CONNECTED!
OUR GROUP EMAIL SYSTEM is handy and established... at least for me to talk to you.
Now and then I will try to just “SEND YOU A LETTER” to bring our hearts TOGETHER.”

Much time has passed since the above was written.  I have tried to write every day.  We are all FATIGUED.  I need to renew my CONNECTION with all of you.  It’s time to get my DIRECTORY out and look at first names.  It’s a time to PRAY,  and CALL and TEXT.  WE DO NEED EACH OTHER DON’T WE?
It’s time to RENEW PERSONAL GROWTH.  We are not ISOLATED FROM GOD’S WORD!  But DEDICATION, and DILIGENCE in my READING...  COME FROM ME!
I    HAVE TO DO IT!

FATIGUE is an excellent EXCUSE for COMPLACENCY.   DON’T USE IT!

1Pet 5:8-9    Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour:  9  Whom
resist stedfast in the faith, knowing that the same afflictions are accomplished in your brethren that are in the world.

My Prayer:
Please Lord, add strength and energy and action to my life.  Renew my soul to serve you and grow closer to You with each passing day.  Rescue me from the tiredness of life.  Cause a revival in my spirit.  Revive each of us in the Church.  Help us to see opportunity and follow it.  Make our  prayer life alive Oh God.    In Jesus name                      Amen
